icon Step 1 Disembark from the aircraft top
  1. Before you disembark from the aircraft, flight attendants will distribute Disembarkation and Customs Declaration forms. Please complete these forms before reporting to arrival passport control and baggage inspection.
  2. Please ask your flight attendant to provide the forms on board the aircraft. Alternately, you may obtain the form at arrival passport control counters after you disembark from the aircraft.

Present your travel documents to the Arrival Passport Control officer.
Citizens of the R.O.C.
Passport, Customs Declaration Form and Disembarkation Form (not required for citizens with a household registered in Taiwan)
Passengers of foreign nationality :
Passport, Visa, departing flight ticket, Customs Declaration Form and Disembarkation Form.

  1. Proceed to the Baggage and Customs Hall to retrieve your baggage.
  2. Passengers not wishing to clear their baggage through customs may store items in the Transit Baggage Storage Facility.

1. Restricted from Entry to Taiwan:
     a. Fruit and Fruit Products.
     b. No matter whether the fruit product is fresh, frozen, pickled or cooked, it must be
         in a vacuum-sealed package, otherwise it may not be imported to Taiwan except by
         a designated cargo service.
     c. Animals, Plants and Meat Products Includes live animals, plants and meat products.

2. If you wish to bring any of these products or a pet into Taiwan, please contact the
    Bureau of Animal and Plant Inspection and Quarantine for further information.

3. Passengers who wish to bring agricultural products to Taiwan should check first with
    the Bureau of Animal and Plant Inspections and Quarantine, Council of Agriculture.

4. Any questions about quarantine procedures for passengers, flight personnel, aircraft or
    fisheries products may be directed to the 2nd Branch Office, Center for Disease Control,

If the items in your baggage are not dutiable, please proceed to the 'Nothing to Declare' counters, indicated by the color green. If you are bringing dutiable goods into Taiwan, proceed to the 'Goods to Declare' counters, indicated by the color red.

Passengers carrying the following goods should proceed to the 'Goods to Declare' (the Red line Counters):
  1. Arms, ammunication.
  2. Baggage exceeding a total value of NT$20,000 (half this price for those under the age
    of 20).
  3. Cigarette and alcohol over the quantity of duty exemption (cigarettes: 200 sticks, cigars: 25 sticks, tobacco: 1 pound, and alcohol: 1 liter. These products are not allowed for those under the age of 20).
  4. Foreign currency in excess of US$5,000; gold exceeding a total value of US$10,000.
  5. Any aquatic products, or any species of animal/plant of products thereof(Fruits and otherarticles failing quarantine shall be destroyed or returned in shipment).
  6. Unaccompanied baggage.
  7. Other dutiable articles or items to be declared.
