The departure procedures are as follows:
Please present your plane ticket and passport at the check-in counters designated for your flight to receive your seat assignment and boarding pass.
Be sure to retrieve your passport and plane ticket, ensuring that baggage receipts are attached.
Paying for the airport service fee:
1. To America and Canada:
Each passenger is permitted to check in two pieces of baggage free of charge. Each piece must not exceed 23 kilograms (UA,NW will accept baggage up to a maximum of 50 pounds (23 kg) ).
2. To Europe, Asia and Australia:
Each passenger is permitted 20 kilograms of checked baggage free of charge.
Before leaving the check-in counter you must confirm that your baggage has successfully passed X-ray inspection.

1. Passengers carrying animals or plants out of Taiwan must complete formal exit procedures with the Bureau of Animal and
Plant health Inspections and Quarantine.

1. After checking in, report to departure passport control and present your passport,
boarding pass and embarkation form (not required for citizens of the R.O.C.) to the
passport control officer.
2. After clearing passport control, check the gate number on your boarding
pass and proceed in the direction of your boarding gate.

1. Passenger Clearance stations are separated for men and women.
Place your carry-on items on the inspection conveyor.
2. Be sure to remove all metal objects from your pockets. After passing through the security gate, retrieve your metal objects and carry-on items.
3. Once cleared through the Passenger Clearance, you may pass the remaining time as you wish. A variety of duty-free shops and restaurant facilities are available.
Be sure to report to your boarding gate at least 40 minutes before the designated departure time for your flight.
