Inaugurated in 1981, the Chung Cheng Aviation Museum was constructed by the Civil Aeronautics Administration of Communications Ministry in line with the government's policy of cultural development for the purpose of preserving aviation history and improving public understanding of the civil aviation industry,
The museum provides educational, creative and enjoyable exhibitions rich with information on aviation and illustrated with accurate replicas of real aircraft. The museum is the first of its kind in Taiwan.

Transportation to the Aviation Museum

For visitors who use public transportation can take the free shuttle bus operating by the airport hotel to reach the museum and vise versa.

Bus stops on both terminals are located on the same eastern curbside of the main building.

For general drivers,the museum has its own parking for 300 private vehicles and tour buses.
